Ngaiire’s PAIA at Carriageworks was a fire-lit ritual of music, movement, and memory. Commissioned by Carriageworks for Vivid Sydney 2025, Ripple Narratives was invited to photograph this powerful performance, capturing moments of transformation, ceremony, and cultural force.

During Vivid Sydney 2025, Ripple Narratives was invited to capture Echoes of The Block, a powerful Blak hip hop event led by Awesome Black at Carriageworks. The result was a series of vibrant, unfiltered moments celebrating creativity, culture, and community in motion.

Over 11 days and 4,000 kilometres, Ripple Narratives travelled through the Pilbara to document the strength and struggles of remote Aboriginal communities. From red dust roads to heartfelt interviews, this journey wasn’t just about filming — it was about listening, connecting, and sharing stories that too often go unseen.
