Both cyclists pedal
Riding Together puts vision-impaired riders on the front of a semi-recumbent tandem e-bike, with a pilot riding upright behind. In the charity's own words, both cyclists pedal and both are part of the ride.
We photographed the team in their orange jerseys on two days. The first was a ride on a bush road through the gums, from the pre-ride check to the descent. The second was Spring Cycle, the Bicycle NSW ride through Sydney, from under the flyover to the finish by the water and the Riding Together tent.
