Echoes of the Block, for Awesome Black and Carriageworks

For four days and three nights during Vivid Sydney 2025, Track 8 at Carriageworks became a pirate radio station run by Blak artists. By day it was an open studio. By night the broadcasts went live. Awesome Black and Carriageworks both asked us in to document it, on film and in stills.

More than 60 growers and makers in the old Eveleigh rail workshops on Gadigal Country, and a morning program from SBS Food on cooking with the season and wasting less. We photographed the day from setup to close: stallholders, crowd, produce and the demonstrations.
