Tiny people, very big canvases
Werner Bronkhorst paints miniature figures onto thick, textured fields of paint, so a sweep of white becomes a ski slope and a block of blue becomes a pool. The Whole World's a Canvas brought more than 100 of his works to Ground Seesaw Seochon in Seoul, from 21 March to 14 September 2025.
Our film follows his process and the exhibition space, so audiences who come to the show, or never make it to Seoul, can see how the work is made and what he is asking them to notice.
