Ripple Narratives was honoured to document NGAIIRE: PAIA at Carriageworks during Vivid Sydney. In collaboration with multi-award-winning director Dino Dimitriadis and featuring Ruby Jackson, this electrifying performance merged music, dance, and ceremonial fire to create an unforgettable, multi-sensory experience. Rooted in the Tok Pisin word for “fire,” PAIA embodies both a personal reckoning and a powerful prophecy — a space where rage, ecstasy, ancestry, and ceremony collide.
